Unreal Engine –Spline+ UE377
This pack comes with an example map and basic meshes to demonstrate Spline Plus’ features.
The intentions of this pack is to be able to quickly add detail to your scenes or games. It comes with the functionality to populate one spline with many meshes/actos as to not having to place them by hand.
Spline+ is a highly customizable tool that allows for easy additions for new features to match your use case.
Technical Details
Spline+ Features include:
- Quickly and easily change the spline mesh’s materials
- Change the mobility options (Static, Stationary, Movable)
- Change collision settings from No collision, Query only, Physics only or Both
- Use either curvy spline math or linear spline math
- Change the Random Seed to randomize some factors of the spline
Spline Generation:
- Use either Repeating meshes, Repeating Equally Stretched meshes and Periodic placement of meshes:
- Repeating: Meshes are connected and bend, only stretches the last mesh to the end of the spline.
- Repeating Equally Stretched: Stretches all meshes in the spline equally to reach the end of the spline.
- Periodic: Will spawn meshes periodically along the spline.
- Use either Static Meshes or Hierarchical Static Meshes on the Periodic generation type
- Ability to add Start and End meshes on the start and end of the spline
Extra options:
- Ability to spawn Meshes or Actors
- Ability to change the mesh’s forward axis
- Spawn multiple different meshes/actors in the same spline
- Spawn multiple meshes sequentially
- You can set a gap distance between meshes/actors between their pivot points, or between their bounding boxes
- Twist amount determines how many times the actor will twist along the spline
- Force Z Vertical tickbox
- Flip mesh tickbox for the start and end meshes
- Ability to spawn the first, middle and last meshes/actors
- Ability to add more meshes along the length of the spline, squishing them so they don’t exceed the length
- Add offsets for transform and rotation, randomised offsets for transform and rotation, or both
Included is an Example Feature Zoo scene
