This is a booster pack of assets for Concept Art, created for Blender 3.3 and above.
With 12 unique fire assets that can be viewed from any angle, they will provide plenty of variety to fill any scene.

  • 8 static volumetric torch flames
  • 4 static volumetric fire bowl flames
  • 4 static spark particle effects
  • 4 variations of handheld torches with a single image texture
  • 4 variations of more detailed torches with interchangeable textures
  • 4 variations of fire bowls
  • BONUS: 20 VDB files of the fire volumes

Important

  • The geometry and textures of the torches aren’t very clean and some assets may require overpainting. This is strictly intended for rendered images.
  • The flames in the preview images represent the final look, the volumes and sparks are made to look like they were shot at medium shutter speed for nighttime scenes.
  • The flames and sparks are not animated.
  • If you want to change the density of the smoke, simply change the ‘Density’ value in the ‘t_torch flame’ shader.
  • To install the library, go to Edit>Preferences>File Paths>Asset Libraries, hit the plus-icon and locate the .blend file.
  • If you move the .blend file, move the entire folder including the textures and vdb subfolders. Otherwise, the links in the .blend file will break.
  • Created for Cycles but should work in Eevee with a small tile size. These are high density volumes and they’re not very performant, you may need to optimize your rendering settings for better rendering times.
