This is a top-down shooter template project that contains many components and assets needed to start a top-down shooter in seconds.
This has been made simple so anyone can use it.
The player moves relative to the camera view and uses the mouse or the right stick of the game joystick to aim.
You can pick up items, activate panels, open or close doors, kill characters, throw grenades and more…
Weapons are fully adjustable, with parameters such as fire rate, bullet speed, acceleration, spread damage, etc…
Bullets are managed with the help of a simple pool system.

The AI works using a Nav grid and a simple waypoint system to control whether someone is chasing you, targeting you, or attacking you by listening to the player’s shots or footsteps and using distance and perspective.
